Not Good: Afghanistan NATO Edition

Gates Faults NATO forces in South.

Afghanistan, the “forgotten forgotten” war  is murky and out the press.  Sec. Defense Gates has publicly questioned whether the Canadian and British forces (the dominant ones in the south) know how to fight counterinsurgency.  [Coming from a country with the counterinsurgency “success” of Iraq that should raise a few eyebrows].

The question is:  is Afghanistan going to break apart NATO for good?  It needs a massive re-haul and comments like this (as well as to be fair bureaucracy on the Euro Side) probably doesn’t help that process.
