Vancouver Integral

Anyone in the Vancouver Area, I’m leading an evening discussion on Integral Spirituality this coming Monday 17th. I’ve copied and pasted the email notice below:

A discussion of Integral Spirituality by Chris Dierkes

Employing discussion, question and answer, and guided experiential formats, I will lead the group through an exploration of a few salient points of an Integral Spirituality. I will focus particularly on the notion that Ken Wilber’s integral map is a map of actual existing locations within and without us and how to come in deeper contact with these dimensions of our everyday lives.

Some of the themes to be covered:
–Basic definitions and understandings of spirituality
–What an integral approach brings to the question/practice of spirituality
–Intersubjective Spirituality: The Real Edge and Future of Spiritual Evolution

The space will also be open and I am very desirous to hear the group’s thinking, questions, issues/challenges in this area. Depending on time, some possible discussion of these issues from my own tradition of Christianity.

  1. I would like to find the Wilber local Vancouver group.
I heard him in Denver in August. My husband and I have read several of his books, aloud.
